From reclaimed roughsawn old growth Douglas fir and hotrolled steel angle and flat bar. Solid wood benchtop. Custom fabricated legs. Elemental, refined. Will endure for generations.

Fir salvaged from warehouses, barns and other industrial agrarian buildings in Tacoma, Seattle and the Puget Sound area. Wood worked smooth, to a balance of blade, patina, figure and grain. Has the pull and gravity of time, wear, work and forest.

Finished with locally-produced teak oil and burnished with steel wool.

Price is for benches up to approximately 48" long x 18" high x 11-1/8" wide

PLANK
Douglas fir plank sanded smooth while preserving the deepened tone of years doing work in the elements, absorbing rain and salt air with brief intermissions of sun. Traces of the sawmill blade and patina totally intact, only lightly cleaned, on edges and underside

FINISH
Wood is finished with a locally-produced teak oil and beeswax. Steel legs powdercoated black for an enduring, low maintenance finish

DIMENSIONS | PRICING
Bench is approximately 9.5 to 11.5 inches wide x 2 inches thick. Overall bench height 18 inches. Bench is made to order and will be near equivalent in color, texture, patina and tone as shown in photos

Wood varies with each piece. But there is a commonality of tone and figure and patina.
