CRAFT
birdloft prides itself on its exceptional craft. Every piece is made with meticulous attention to detail and knowledge of how wood moves and breathes.

MATERIALS
Sourced wood is industrial-grade, reclaimed old growth roughsawn fir, salvaged from warehouses and agrarian buildings in the Tacoma, Seattle and greater Puget Sound region.
Sourced steel is estimated at 89.5% recycled content, about three times the recycled content of most commercially available steel.

BIRDLOFT ETHOS OF GREEN
All birdloft reclaimed materials are sustainably harvested in a big-hearted, biodiesel-breathing compact pickup truck. The biodiesel is 100 percent recycled. This is just one aspect of our ongoing efforts to be responsibly awesome. More trumpeting can be had at http://www.birdloft.com/ethos.php

FINISH
Legs and wine rack truss are finished with clear matte enamel. Wood is finished with a locally produced tung oil and beeswax.
