Fir salvaged from warehouses, barns and other industrial agrarian buildings in Tacoma, Seattle and the Puget Sound area. Wood worked smooth, to a balance of blade, patina, figure and grain. Has the pull and gravity of time, forest, work and wear
Steel is estimated at 89.5% recycled content, about three times the recycled content of most commercially available steel

FINISH
Hand finished with locally-produced teak oil. Burnished with beeswax and steel wool. Steel's factory black patina finished with clear matte enamel.
